Studio in a School’s inspirational founder, Agnes Gund, was presented with the inaugural “Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award” at a ceremony in Washington D.C. on February 14. Justice Ginsburg presented the honor to Ms. Gund to recognize her civic leadership and remarkable achievements.
Studio is thrilled to be part of Ms. Gund’s legacy, ensuring that New York City public school students receive standards-based, quality instruction in the visual arts regardless of socio-economic status. The award in Justice Ginsburg’s name will be presented annually to a woman who exemplifies a positive influence on society, serving as an exceptional role model in both principle and practice.
