Expanding Studio Partnerships with Rainey Institute
We are pleased to bring our inquiry-based early childhood programming to Cleveland through a new partnership with Rainey Institute, an anchor arts institution in Cleveland.

Under the direction of Studio Institute film instructor, Shoshana Ehrenkranz, three intrepid BAI film interns—Shamar, Ciera, and Debora—braved the summer heat to visit BAI work sites citywide to document the range of internships, capturing students’ reflections and observations about their summer experience. “Connecting Communities with Artists”: Highlighting the Work of Young Artists from Studio Institute Programs in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Ohio
We are pleased to share the collages, drawings, and paintings by young artists in pre-kindergarten through grade 8 from Studio Institute programs in New Jersey, Ohio, and Connecticut—now on display at the Studio in a School NYC Gallery at One East 53rd Street in Manhattan. The fine artwork of these young artists attests to the importance of arts education and community partnerships. Read more.

Studio Institute and Bloomberg Philanthropies Provide Paid Internships to 73 Students at 35 New York City Cultural Institutions in Summer 2022
Studio Institute and Bloomberg Philanthropies announced the start of the 2022 Bloomberg Arts Internship program, marking the ten-year anniversary of the program in New York City. Through this partnership, 73 rising seniors from New York City career and technical education public high schools are getting paid internships this summer at 35 New York City cultural organizations. Student Scholars Honored at Art History Research Fellowship Awards Ceremony
Congratulations to the 2022 Art History Research Fellowship scholarship and award winners from five New York City public schools! Eight high school students selected to receive this year’s awards, along with 30 program participants, were recognized in a special ceremony held at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on May 24 to celebrate their accomplishment.
