Look, Create, Share

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Studio and our national team of artists are sharing ways for you to make art at home. Students can learn to create art and share it by watching videos here.

 

 

Art Blueprint

Art Blueprint provides access to free, groundbreaking visual arts curriculum for Grades 2, 5, and 8, developed by Studio with the New York City Department of Education.

 

Expanding The Frame

Expanding the Frame was a research project conducted by Studio Institute from 2014-2019. ETF’s focus was the development and implementation of curriculum that improved learning in English Language Arts, Math, and Visual Arts. Access some of these lessons for free here.

 

Arts Achieve

In Arts Achieve, Studio partnered with the New York City Department of Education, 92Y Dance Education Laboratory, ArtsConnection, Carnegie Hall, and the Cooper Hewitt Museum to develop units and instructional plans that improved students skills with the help of assessment and technology. Arts Intern: Venice – 2019 Biennale Arte

In 2019, Studio selected eight college interns to live and work in Venice over the summer. There, they worked as gallery guides at the United States pavilion exhibition, Martin Puryear: Liberty/Liberta. In addition to this, the interns taught a exhibition-related lessons to underserved children, young people, and mothers at a community-based organization in the region.
