Bloomberg Arts Mentors
Make a positive impact on a teen’s life as a Bloomberg Arts Mentor. If you’re a college student with a strong interest in the arts and culture of New York City, this is an excellent opportunity to gain paid experience in arts
and educational program management and guidance for teens.
Open to college undergraduate and graduate students in New York City.

Studio Arts Mentors
Gain paid experience teaching and mentoring high school students in the visual arts. Arts Mentors assist Studio artist instructors in implementing our Teen Apprenticeship Program and work with teens to produce, document, and deliver art instruction to young children in NYC summer camps.
Open to New York City college undergraduate Studio Art majors.
Watching the interns gain independence and thrive in their various work sites has made me proud to be a mentor in the Bloomberg Arts Internship program.

Art History Research Fellowship
Developed by the Office of Arts and Special Projects, NYC Department of Education, the Art History Research Fellowship is a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors that encourages students to write an original art history research paper.
Open to teens attending New York City public high schools.
Studio Institute College Scholarship Program
Studio Institute’s College Scholarship Program scholarships help young people further their art studies with one- and multi-year undergraduate scholarships to students who are accepted in BFA programs for the academic year. Awards are based on merit and financial need.
Open to NYC public high school seniors who have participated in two or more of Studio Institute’s out-of-school programs

Out-of-School Programs
Get professional guidance in building your portfolio and support for the college application process. Studio Intensives include multiple-session courses in drawing, digital collage, painting, animation, and portfolio development. If you successfully complete multiple Studio programs, you are eligible to apply for Studio Institute college scholarships.
