The Huntington Theatre Company: Human Resources Intern (Boston)
OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Intern will generally support the team, assisting in onboarding/exiting, payroll, benefits, job postings, scheduling interview committees, and other duties as assigned.
The HR Intern will be responsible for the long-term project of an audit of the PAYCOM
system, specifically removing, updating and adding/or adding requisitions necessary for
appropriately staffing the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Audit Review the ATS system to close open positions that are no longer in use
Condense positions listed in the Paycom system
Review and compile job descriptions for company postings
Research job fairs for the school calendar year, in support of Workforce Development and new employee recruitment
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Knowlege of Adobe, Paycom, Tessitura, All Donor Software, Microsoft Suite (TEAMS), Google Suite
Knowledge of Power Point, Spreadsheet and Word Doc.
Typing skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Time management skills
COMPENSATION
$22.50 per hour
INTERNS WILL WORK 28 HOURS PER WEEK AND ATTEND A MANDATORY OFFSITE PROGRAM DAY ONE DAY PER WEEK WITH THEIR COHORT.
Internship Period: June 9 – August 8
Total Weeks: 9 weeks
Work Hours per Week: 28
Total Hours: 252
Workdays: 4 days per week onsite (Mondays – Thursdays)
Work hours will be 10 AM- 6 PM
PROGRAM DAY:
On Fridays, interns will attend an offsite program day with their cohort.
These hours are separate from the internship hours.
