The Huntington Theatre Company: Human Resources Intern (Boston)

OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Intern will generally support the team, assisting in onboarding/exiting, payroll, benefits, job postings, scheduling interview committees, and other duties as assigned.
The HR Intern will be responsible for the long-term project of an audit of the PAYCOM
system, specifically removing, updating and adding/or adding requisitions necessary for
appropriately staffing the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Position Audit Review the ATS system to close open positions that are no longer in use

  • Condense positions listed in the Paycom system

  • Review and compile job descriptions for company postings

  • Research job fairs for the school calendar year, in support of Workforce Development and new employee recruitment

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowlege of Adobe, Paycom, Tessitura, All Donor Software, Microsoft Suite (TEAMS), Google Suite

  • Knowledge of Power Point, Spreadsheet and Word Doc.

  • Typing skills

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Time management skills

COMPENSATION

  • $22.50 per hour

INTERNS WILL WORK 28 HOURS PER WEEK AND ATTEND A MANDATORY OFFSITE PROGRAM DAY ONE DAY PER WEEK WITH THEIR COHORT.

  • Internship Period: June 9 – August 8

  • Total Weeks: 9 weeks

  • Work Hours per Week: 28

  • Total Hours: 252

  • Workdays: 4 days per week onsite (Mondays – Thursdays)  

  • Work hours will be 10 AM- 6 PM

PROGRAM DAY:

  • On Fridays, interns will attend an offsite program day with their cohort.

  • These hours are separate from the internship hours.
