Yes! And… Collaborative Arts: Marketing Intern (Philadelphia)
OVERVIEW
Are you passionate about marketing, the arts, and storytelling? Do you want to gain hands-on experience creating marketing campaigns that leave a lasting impact? At Yes! And… Collaborative Arts, our Marketing Intern will dive into real-world projects, crafting and implementing marketing strategies for our exciting productions and events. From designing social media campaigns to coordinating with press and sponsors, you’ll develop skills that will elevate your professional portfolio while contributing to a thriving arts community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive training on key tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Illustrator, and Google Suite
Develop marketing strategies for major events
Conduct market research on target audiences and best outreach methods
Create and schedule engaging social media content
Write and distribute press releases to local media outlets
Design promotional materials (posters, postcards, digital graphics)
Reach out to partner organizations, sponsors, and community stakeholders to expand event reach
Track campaign progress and adjust strategies as necessary
Develop a portfolio-ready presentation showcasing marketing strategies and creative content
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated and independent work ethic
Experience or coursework in marketing, advertising, or public relations
Familiarity with graphic design tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Illustrator).
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with event marketing or public relations (preferred)
Background in theatre or the arts (preferred)
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends (preferred)
COMPENSATION
$20 per hour
INTERNS WILL WORK 28 HOURS PER WEEK AND ATTEND A MANDATORY OFFSITE PROGRAM DAY ONE DAY PER WEEK WITH THEIR COHORT.
Internship Period: June 11 – August 13
Total Weeks: 9 weeks
Work Hours per Week: 28
Total Hours: 252
Workdays: 4 days per week onsite (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays)
Work hours will be 8:30 AM/9:00 AM – 4:30 PM/5:00 PM
PROGRAM DAY:
On Wednesdays, interns will attend an offsite program day with their cohort.
These hours are separate from the internship hours.
